When my daughter Ashlee went into treatment at Retreat for opioid abuse, I had no idea what to expect. She had been through unsuccessful inpatient stays at other facilities before, and nothing worked in the long run. But as soon as she arrived, I could tell that Retreat was different. The program took superb care of her and Ashlee’s primary care therapist kept me apprised of her progress in the program during her month long stay. Once she graduated the program, Retreat helped transition her into a sober living home that enabled her to take those first few steps toward recovery with strength and confidence. Six years later, she’s remained sober and has a new lease on life — and I have my daughter back. I owe it to Retreat for the fresh start that Ashlee’s gotten, and would feel comfortable encouraging any parent in my position to send their child to this loving community of people who really care about their patients.
